Alright, being a semi-dj and all around techy that I am, I found this somewhat funny and interesting. Numark, a very professional company that makes turntables and other things for dj, might be producing a product that will use two iPods.
A few things come to mind. One is the price? How much would this run for? A 60 Gig iPod Photo is around $399.00. Let’s imagine if we wanted to build one ourselves. Two iPods (60gig for space)($399.00), two numark mp3 turntables ($732.99), a numark mixer ($599.00) and we will be set, right? Hmm, what does that add up to? (2 x 399.00) + (2 x 732.99) + 599.00 = 2862.98 (w/o shipping and handling). $2862.98, nice.. that’s right in my price range. ![]()
However, according to Engadget, they are guessing it will be around “$399.00 retail/$249.00 street”.
pretty worthless w/o pitch control, which if i remember correctly, and by looking at the pic, this doesn’t have.
