I love a movie as much as the next guy, and I have nothing against religion. My roommate and I were watching some good Discovery Channel when we saw a commercial for “THE PASSION RECUT“. First thing first, it’s not a DVD/VHS release, it’s a theatre release. Mr. Gibson is riding on the media/religious bandwagon.
We decided to look up what this whole “new” movie is all about and it led to a nice laugh. In his introduction Mr. Gibson states that this movie is for individuals who cannot handle the goar. The new movie is going to be “5 minutes.. uh.. 6 minutes shorter” but it’s going to keep the same “integraty”.
All I can say is that all the religious folks will be going to this again, and I bet it will be #1 for a weekend or two. We will see.
